World Snow Goose Calling Championship Results from Katy, TX-Chris Swift wins with an Express White Out!

Congratulations to Chris Swift of Houston, TX for winning the World Championship Snow Goose Calling Contest in Katy, TX on August 19, 2006. The contest was held at Bass Pro Shops, in Katy, TX and drew 20 callers to the stage to compete for the World Championship title. Chris had entered the competition last year as only his second ever calling contest and placed 3rd! What a great way to kick off your contest calling career by posting a top 3 in the World Snow Goose Calling Contest! Chris went back to Katy this year in hopes of taking home the Championship, and that he did. Chris relied on his favorite snow goose call, an Express White Out, made by World Goose Calling Champion of Champions, Sean Mann. Sean's White Out snow goose call has been a favorite of snow goose hunters in the U.S. and Canada for years. So it's no suprise that the stage in Katy, TX saw more than one White Out during the contest. Chris proved to be the best this day and can now enjoy the title of World Champion.
