For Immediate Release: January 6, 2009

Orion Announces New Series for 2009
America's leader in outdoor TV production announces 7 new HD series

Denver, Colo - Officials from Orion Multimedia, the world's largest producer of outdoor adventure television, have announced seven new High-Definition series for 2009.

"We've made tremendous investments in cutting edge technology, an all-star roster of seasoned television production veterans, and new processes to help us continue to transform the outdoor genre," says Chris Dorsey, Orion President & CEO. "We're bringing a wide variety of resources into play to raise production values to better introduce the field sports to an ever-widening mainstream audience," he says.

Coming to VERSUS in 2009 will be Beretta's Waterfowler's Edge, hosted by a team of America's best known waterfowlers - including multiple world goose calling champion and legendary call maker Sean Mann. The rest of the dream team will consist of Chris Dorsey, one of the world's most widely traveled waterfowlers and author of the award winning Wildfowler's Season. Doug Larsen, another inveterate duck hunter and author of the acclaimed, Don't Shoot the Decoys, will join the team. Lastly, best-selling waterfowling author of all time, Steve Smith, will round-out the line-up. His books Hunting Ducks & Geese and Just Labs have sold more than 300,000 copies.

Three series will premiere on ESPN Outdoors in 2009 as well. The first is Browning Expeditions, hosted by international hunting authority and renowned wildlife sculptor Stephen LeBlanc. This series will travel the globe in search of the world's greatest hunting adventures showcasing a wide array of Browning's world class products. Guest appearances by notable hunters - including American Idol finalist and country music sensation Kristy Lee Cook - will round-out this electric new series.

Another series joining the ESPN line-up will be Grateful Nation, presented by Beretta and Federal Premium Ammunition. This series will be hosted by former Army Ranger and actor Tim Abell (We Were Soldiers and Soldier of Fortune fame) and will take wounded military veterans on hunting adventures across North America. Along the way, we will witness the journey from trials and tribulations of physical and emotional loss to spiritual renewal as these celebrated vets reconnect with the sporting nation that honors them in the best way that they know how.

Wrapping up the Orion additions to the 2009 ESPN line-up is Gamo Adventures, a new mini-series devoted to the ever-growing air rifle hunting market with Gamo's industry leading adult air rifles. Viewers will learn how an adult air rifle, shooting ammunition at velocities up to 1300 fps, is a great addition to many forms of hunting

Two series that will hit the Outdoor Channel airwaves in 2009 include Beretta's Wild & Raw, hosted by New York Times best-selling author (Lone Survivor) and decorated veteran Marcus Luttrell and seven-time national clays champion and Beretta exhibition shooter Scott Robertson. As the title suggests, this series will stretch the limits of outdoor television to showcase unforgettable adventure.

The 10 Best & Worst also will premiere on Outdoor Channel and will count down the top (or bottom) list of outdoor topics ranging from hunting destinations to outdoor inventions to greatest conservationists. Fast-paced and entertaining, this series will depart from the standard fare found in the genre.

The final new 2009 series from Orion will be The Ultimate Sportsman's Lodge airing on the Scripps-owned Do-It-Yourself (DIY) network. Showcasing the build-out of a Montana streamside lodge will be the focus of this series designed to inspire American outdoorsmen and women with a penchant for creating their own sporting habitats. Special appearances by best selling comedian Jeff Foxworthy will round-out this production.

In addition to these new series, Orion will continue production on 16 other award-winning series for 2009. "Our process of continuous improvement," says Dorsey, "is providing our clients with the highest rated programs in the genre and numerous new sales and marketing opportunities through a wide range of existing and emerging video-based platforms. To be sure, it's an exciting time to reach consumers through the power of TV and other video technologies."
